Please see below for the main homework this week which is consolidating the children's knowledge on column addition & subtraction.  There is an alternative homework but this will be given to the appropriate children in the year.  Any questions please see Mrs Askey or myself at the end of the day.

Dear Parents 

The homework for this week is going over expanded noun phrases.  If your child experiences any difficulties with this please encourage them to just list the adjectives that they would use to describe the things in each picture.

There is an alternative homework for some children but they know who they are so unless your child brings home something different please presume we are setting the expanded noun phrases sheet.

Our apologies today as 3A did not receive their homework.  I have uploaded this to the website.  It is times tables practice. The children have been working on multiplication this week.  Please choose the times table that you feel would benefit your child the most to practice.  If they would like to do more than times table then that's absolutely fine too.

Good morning parents & carers of Year 3

Just a note about the Maths homework today (Friday 27th September).  We have set some reasoning questions for today's homework which  require the children to explain their answers.  Therefore, we have three sets of homework on the website today.  The children will be given the homework that we feel they can do independently.  Should your child have difficulty completing the work that is given them today, we would appreciate it if you could write a note in their books so we can adjust the work.
